This is the daily activity of the disabled children where I serve. They are all being taught about gross motor skills and fine motor skills. This activity is actually carried out by their seniors who also have disabilities.
Understanding and carrying out daily routines instructions are challenges for every child with disabilities (especially those with multiple disabilities). I applaud how the seniors teach their younger siblings with disabilities patiently considering that they also have limited physical abilities (most of the seniors are completely blind).
If we think that the task of being a parent with a normal physical condition is already a struggle, imagine how difficult it is to be a caregiver for a child with a disability.
Anyone who has a family member with a disability is a blessing in disguise. Teaching us about the meaning of patience and educates the next generation to be stronger in facing any test in life.
whoever you are (a normal person or a person with a disability/neurodivergence) keep the spirit up and live our life with gratitude and pride.😇😇😇
